Not a gore fest but creepy, campy, spine-tingling and suspenseful paired with straight-up horror films as well workshops illustrating the many processes of special effects in the genre.
The 2018 Dickens Horror Film Festival: Fear and Film on the Front Range
Come in costume for our 3rd annual contemporary and classic horror film festival with screenings all day and night Saturday at the haunted Dickens Opera House. Along with films there will be workshops through-out the day illustrating the behind the scene process's such as costume and make up design that effectively suspends our disbelief. This festival will scare the Dickens out of you.
