THE 2024 KIT CARSON COUNTY FAIR AND RODEO IS SCHEDULED FOR July 21st through July 27th
Greetings! The 2024 Kit Carson County Fair and Rodeo Royalty, Princess-Aubrey Culwell, Attendant-Kaitlyn Tracy, and Queen-Lexie Wollert, would like to invite you all to the 107th Kit Carson County Fair and Rodeo, July 21st through the 27th. Each day of the week will be action packed full of fun and laughter, along with the showcasing and hardworking 4-H and FFA members with their projects that they have been working on throughout the year. You can go through all the livestock barns, and project buildings to see all the exhibits and animals of the members. Make sure to take a stroll through our beautiful Carousel Park and enjoy live entertainment and delicious food from local vendors. For only 25¢ you can ride the historic Kit Carson County Carousel featuring the Wurlitzer Monster Military Band Organ. This national historic landmark is 119 years old and fully restored. It can be ridden 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily during the entire fair. Monday night is the pig show and ranch rodeo, Tuesday night is dog trials and Wednesday night is the livestock sale. The PRCA Rodeos will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Thursday will be pink night, Friday will be red, white and blue night, and Saturday we will end off the week with an entertaining concert. Mark your calendars because this is a week you won’t want to miss! Our royalty team will be representing our county at various fairs and other surrounding events, so make sure to keep an eye out for us!
